This series is based on the mantra, loka samastha sukhino bhavanthu, which translates from Sanskrit,
"May all beings everywhere be happy and free."
Each of the four paintings represents a word from the mantra.
As a series, they are a visual prayer for global peace and for the relief of suffering of all beings.
This series arose from True’s own meditation practice in which she works with this prayer as a resource for healing.

As a being of the water, earth and air, the dragonfly was chosen for this painting is a symbol of evolution and emergence.
